Inspired by the beauty of indigo color and processes, the collection Vol. 1 is born. Based on indigo dying process mixed with Batik and Sashiko, creating a heritage yet modern which pionarize simplicity. Vol. 1 has high concern towards the existence of nature and batik labor. Therefore, Vol. 1 is 100% local supports meaning it is made in Indonesia and all done by Indonesian labor. Vol. 1put on selvedge as an added value for the collection to give the sense and experience of modernization.

Vol. 1 concern about how people now days tend to left out batik as casual cloth, it is considered as something formal and outdated. People might have forgotten that batik is one of the important parts of Indonesia as a nation. It symbolizes culture, history, and value that has been adapted and implement since the nation is born and way before it is structured. Our concern brought us to apply values of batik to the collection. Batik Parang Kusumo is the pattern that we want to brought throughout the collection, it symbolizes wisdom and courage of a leader.
